For whatever reason, the general population just doesn’t take the science of exercise seriously. They really believe that all they need is a few tips here and there to get the body of their dreams. They think doing a little walking or paying $10 for a health club membership in the long run is a good investment for their health.
People will spend a fortune getting their car fixed, but won’t pay a dime for professional advice about getting their body in decent condition. They have become victims of “fitness marketing”. Perhaps you know someone – maybe it’s you!
Who are they?
- The ones in a gym with NO clue about what they’re doing.
- Those who still do endless crunches thinking it will equate to flat abs.
- They go from machine to machine aimlessly.
- They have no plan.
- They neglect or have no idea about the true roles of nutrition, cardio and strength training.
- They think fitness is a short term solution to a long term commitment.
- They don’t value their health enough (it’s only worth $10/month?) to see the bigger picture.
There is no “bail out” plan for your health. Either take accountability and responsibility for it yourself, or it will cost you dearly in the end.
