Most of my sports information comes to me from my son. He is addicted to ESPN, sports radio talk shows, the internet and an underground world of breaking sports information and stories. However, the 10,000 game loss of the Philadelphia Phillies was news even if you never attend a game. Infact, Fox Sports has a new poll - which MLB team will be the next 10,000 game loss. Philly sports fans are conditioned to focus on our team’s losses -vs- our wins.
Focus on daily habits for fitness Success. When it comes to a personal fitness or exercise plan, I encourage your focus to be on your daily success - not your defeats.
Here are five of my personal PerfectFit tips for Daily Fitness Success:
Go to the Gym. There are so many benefits of working out in an atmosphere that is high energy and motivational. Schedule your personal workout time in your planner and start today - get off your butt and into the gym!
Hydrate Constantly. Simply drink nothing but the clear stuff - WATER! A simple formula for daily water hydration is your body weight divided by two equals the total number of ounces necessary.
Keep a Fitness Journal. I love to jot notes about either running miles or personal training workouts. Also include inspiriational thoughts about gratitudes. Make it short and it’s easy to commit.
Supplement your diet. A recent study found that nearly one-third of the calories in the typical American diet come from nutrient deficient junk food.
